Best of all? We don't make any money off this. If you buy your ticket a month before the event, you get all of your money back when you show up. Otherwise, you'll still get half back when you show up. We do this for the love of love.

A femme/non-binary centered improv and stand-up comedy show raising funds for the DC LGBTQ+ Community Center! Get your tickets HERE!

Femme&m is proud to present She/They Came to Slay: a femme/non-binary centered improv and stand-up comedy show! A percentage of proceeds benefit the DC LGBTQ+ Center.

This hour will bring you standup, improv, and lots of laughs from femme & nonbinary comedians in the DC area.

About the Woke Mob Comedy Festival
The woke mob is rising up! With an absolutely unhinged dedication to diversity, bodily autonomy, and democracy itself, we are undrainable swamp people who work hard every day to keep our home in the DMV culturally hostile to the fascists in power. And honestly? We deserve to have fun while we do it.

The Woke Mob Comedy Festival celebrates everything that makes this region the best, even as the rest of the country sends us its worst. We’re showcasing the DMV’s funniest comedians, especially highlighting BIPOC, women, LGBTQ+ and gender-queer performers, plus a few “prodigal” comics who got their start here before heading national.

It'll be hilarious, joyful, AND every show gives back! With our neighbors under attack, we're raising funds for local organizations that are helping some of our region's most vulnerable. A percentage of ticket sales from this show go to DC LGBTQ+ Center.

Tickets HERE!

DC LGBTQ+ Community Center

The DC LGBTQ+ Community Center educates, empowers, uplifts, celebrates, and connects the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities. They are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where all members of our community can thrive. To fulfill this mission, the Center focuses on four core areas: health and wellness, ensuring equitable access to care and support; arts and culture, celebrating LGBTQ+ creativity and identity; social and peer support, fostering connection and mutual empowerment; and advocacy and community building, working to advance equity, visibility, and justice for all. Through these pillars, the Center strives to build a stronger, more vibrant LGBTQ+ community in DC and beyond. Learn more at https://thedccenter.org/.

Stand Up For Your Neighbors - A Comedy Show To Raise Funds for Families Affected by ICE

ICE's impact on the DMV area and the nation as a whole has been no laughing matter. And with freedom of speech under assault, speaking out has never been scarier. But one tool we have left that they haven't taken from us yet is humor. So we're asking folks to help thaw this mid-winter freeze by warming your hearts with some jokes for justice! Join local comedians as they raise money for César Chávez Dual Spanish Immersion Elementary School's PTO efforts to support families in the region who've been directly impacted by fascist governmental overreach.

Admission is "Donate What You Can," 100% of which goes to the CCDSI PTO ICE relief fund. City-State Public House is also offering $7 pints during the show, and they've generously agreed to donate 10% of those beer sales as well!

DOORS 7:30p | COMEDY 8p

Click the
PayPal donation link, write "Comedy Show" in your donation notes, and show your receipt at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds!

Pottery with a Purpose

✨Back again for Round 2✨

Join us on February 8th from 12-2pm at City-State for yet another Pottery with a Purpose workshop!🪴

Unplug, unwind, and make something by hand at our feel-good pottery afternoon, no experience needed. Whether you come for the joy of making, community, or craft beer, this guided clay workshop is all about making something fun while you sip and socialize. You’ll learn the pottery basics, and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece (or two) you built by hand as well as a deeper sense of calm.

Perfect for date night, catching up with friends, or coming solo to meet new people. Just pick the date and theme that fits your vibe in the drop-down menu.

Bonus: We donate $1 from every ticket to mental health initiatives. Learn more here about which non-profits we’ve given back to so far, and how you can pick who we support next.

What’s Included
Hands-On Instruction: A relaxed, hands-on pottery workshop guided by an experienced host. Workshop length ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the theme — see ‘Theme Details’ section for more info.
Pottery 101: Learn foundational hand-building techniques like pinch pots and coils, then turn them into functional pottery with pieces like mugs, bowls, vases, or planters. We’ll also show you how to add fun touches like handles or texture.
All Supplies Provided: We bring the clay, tools, and materials — you just bring yourself. You’ll make up to 2 pottery pieces during class, plus take home extra clay for more DIY fun.
Beginner-Friendly Vibes: Laid-back, no-pressure energy perfect for first-timers, solo guests, and friend groups alike.
Feel-Good Energy: Enjoy a welcoming, community-centered experience hosted at unique local spots — from breweries to plant shops and cozy cafés — that make the experience feel extra special.
